Our Approach to Artificial Intelligence
Last Updated: 3 July 2026
At Cross Country Management, at times we use artificial intelligence to help us work more efficiently and deliver better outcomes for our clients. We are committed to using AI responsibly, ethically, and transparently. We want you to understand how and when it is part of our work.
How We Use AI
We use AI tools to support a range of tasks, including:
• Research, analysis, and summarisation
• Drafting and refining written content
• Data processing and modelling support
• Internal administration and workflow efficiency
AI is a tool in our hands. It does not replace professional judgement, experience, or accountability.
Our Commitments to You
We keep your data safe.
Your confidential information is never entered into public AI tools. Where AI tools are used to support client work, we de-identify your information to the greatest extent practicable before it is used. We only use AI platforms that meet appropriate data security and privacy standards. All AI tool use complies with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.
We keep humans in the loop.
Every piece of work that involves AI assistance is reviewed, assessed, and approved by a qualified CCM team member before it reaches you. You are always dealing with people who are accountable for what we deliver.
We are transparent.
Where AI has played a meaningful role in a deliverable or recommendation, we will tell you. We do not pass off AI-generated content as purely human work without disclosure.
We check the output.
AI can produce errors. We verify the accuracy, relevance, and appropriateness of all AI-assisted work before it is used or shared.
We operate within a clear policy framework.
Our internal AI Use Policy governs how every member of the CCM team and our contractors uses AI. It is reviewed annually and aligned with Australian Government standards, including the Voluntary AI Safety Standard (VAISS).
What We Don’t Do
• We do not enter your personal or confidential information into unapproved or public AI tools.
• We do not use AI to make consequential decisions without human oversight and sign-off.
• We do not use AI tools that have not been assessed and approved under our internal policy.
Standards We Align With
Our AI practices are guided by:
• Australian Government Voluntary AI Safety Standard (VAISS), 10 Guardrails
• Guidance for AI Adoption (AI6)
• Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and Australian Privacy Principles
• SafeAI-Aus governance framework (safeaiaus.org)
